It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Franklin had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. While the 0-0 score might suggest a draw, it was the Franklin Panthers who were credited with the victory. The Franklin Panthers got it done in the shootout by posting three goals to the Los Angeles Romans's one. The win was familiar territory for the Panthers, who have now won eight games in a row.

Franklin pushed their record up to 10-5 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those five matches. As for Los Angeles, their loss dropped their record down to 7-11.

Looking ahead, Franklin will challenge Huntington Park at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. Huntington Park will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Franklin surely won't give up without a fight. Los Angeles does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
