The Ocean View Seahawks's game on Monday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They enjoyed a cozy 69-52 win over Anaheim. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Ocean View also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2022.

Ocean View had a senior duo take command as Brayden Ackerman scored 24 points along with six rebounds and Blake Girotti dropped a double-double on 18 points and 12 rebounds. The matchup was Ackerman's seventh in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Aaron Phan, who scored seven points along with five rebounds and three steals.

Ocean View has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season. As for Anaheim, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.

Ocean View won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Huntington Beach at 7:30 p.m. on December 15th.
