Gautier has gone 7-1-1 against Vancleave recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Gautier Gators will face off against the Vancleave Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. Gautier will be strutting in after a win while Vancleave will be coming in after a loss.

Gautier's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Laurel with a sharp 4-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Gators.

Meanwhile, Vancleave was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Stone.

Vancleave's loss dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Gautier, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-2-1 record this season.

Gautier beat Vancleave 2-0 when the teams last played back in December of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for Gautier since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
