Soccer Recap: Eagle Valley Comes Up Short

Eagle Valley's game on Tuesday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of the Summit Tigers by a score of 2-1. Eagle Valley were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Summit apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Eagle Valley's goal came courtesy of Chloe Greener, which was the first she's scored this season.

Eagle Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2-1. As for Summit, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Eagle Valley wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Montrose on the 20th. As for Summit, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Middle Park on the 20th.
