Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Salado). They took their contest on the road on Friday with ease, bagging a 67-39 victory over the Little River Academy Bumblebees. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Eagles.

Salado was led to victory by Lincoln Hossfeld and Jackson Turk. Hossfeld rushed for 148 yards and a touchdown while picking up 8.2 yards per carry, while Turk rushed for 126 yards and two touchdowns on only six carries. With that strong performance, Hossfeld is now averaging an impressive 101 rushing yards per game. Salado also got help from Gabriel Merriman, who showed off his sure hands for 88 receiving yards.
