Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Carrollton walked away with it. They enjoyed a cozy 57-39 victory over the Calhoun/Brussels Warriors on Thursday. The win was familiar territory for the Hawks, who have now won nine contests in a row.

Lauren Flowers was her usual excellent self, shooting 65% from the field on her way to 32 points and five rebounds. The matchup was her fourth in a row with at least 16 points. Hayden Mcmurtrie was another key player, putting up six points.

Carrollton's victory bumped their record up to 28-7. As for Calhoun/Brussels, their defeat dropped their record down to 25-7.

Carrollton has already played their next game, a 62-44 win against Edwards County on the 3rd. Calhoun/Brussels does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
