Basketball Recap: Woodland Comes Up Short

If Woodland was riding high fresh off their 54-27 takedown of Southeast Whitfield County last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Woodland Wildcats fell 59-52 to the Cass Colonels on Monday. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Colonels this season, with their most recent loss being a 76-62 defeat back in January.

Woodland has also traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last nine matchups, which has put a noticeable dent in their 6-20 record this season. As for Cass, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-14.

As of now, neither Woodland nor Cass have any future games scheduled.
