Volleyball Recap: John Jay Beats Suffern for Their Fourth Straight Victory

John Jay had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Suffern Mounties. The Patriots not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since September 22nd (when they won 3-0).

John Jay never let Suffern on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-23, 25-11.

Peyton Kellam paced John Jay's offense, picking up ten kills. Kellam got some help from Margaret Bojarczuk and her 24 assists. Jaeda Lisi controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

John Jay's win bumped their record up to 16-3-1. As for Suffern, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

John Jay wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-2 victory against Ketcham on the 3rd. As for Suffern, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-2 win against Monroe-Woodbury on the 30th.
