It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Miami Beach ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They skirted past the American Patriots 5-4. The Hi-Tides haven't had any issues with the Patriots recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Miami Beach got a great performance from Ryan Macdonald as he pitched five innings while giving up three earned runs off only two hits.

At the plate, Lenonx Munoz was incredible, scoring a run and stealing four bases while going 3-for-5. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in March of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Russel Royce, who scored three runs while going 2-for-4.

The win got Miami Beach back to even at 4-4. As for American, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Miami Beach will host Schoolhouse Prep at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Miami Beach is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.2 runs per game this season. As for American, they will square off against Dade Christian at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
