Basketball Recap: Huntingdon Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Huntingdon faced off against Penn Cambria on Friday. The Huntingdon Bearcats took a 59-51 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Penn Cambria Panthers. The Bearcats lost against the Panthers in their previous head to head back in February of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 80-50 score last time.

Gavin Harrold had a dynamite game for Penn Cambria, shooting 4-for-7 from downtown and almost dropping a double-double on 18 points and nine rebounds. That's the most boards Harrold has posted since back in January of 2024. Landon Semelsberger was another key player, putting up 13 points and five rebounds.

Huntingdon now has a losing record at 8-9. As for Penn Cambria, they now have a winning record of 9-8.

Huntingdon has already played their next match, a 78-51 defeat against Bishop Guilfoyle on the 3rd. As for Penn Cambria, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 51-44 victory against Bishop Carroll on the 3rd.
