Red Mesa is a perfect 4-0 against BASIS Flagstaff since October of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Redskins will challenge the Yetis at 5:00 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Red Mesa and four for BASIS Flagstaff.

On Tuesday, Red Mesa came up short against St. Michael and fell 3-1. While the Redskins didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Cardinals 25-21 in the first set.

Red Mesa couldn't get the win, but they sure gave St. Michael a tough time in the second set. The final score came out to 21-25, 32-30, 25-13, 25-19.

Meanwhile, BASIS Flagstaff lost 3-0 to Tuba City on Wednesday.

BASIS Flagstaff's loss dropped their record down to 9-5. As for Red Mesa, they now have a losing record of 8-9.

Everything went Red Mesa's way against BASIS Flagstaff when the teams last played back in October of 2024, as Red Mesa made off with a 3-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Redskins since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
