Naples came tearing into Saturday's matchup with six straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.8 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They had just enough and edged out the Hinsdale Central Bobcats 4-2.

The team relied heavily on Ollie Bruen, who went 1-for-3 with one home run, one stolen base, and two RBI. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played. Theron VanZandt was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base.

Naples pushed their record up to 12-7 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games.
