Volleyball Game Preview: Bloomfield Hills Black Hawks vs. Mercy Marlins + Official Tickets

Bloomfield Hills hasn't had much luck against Mercy recently, but that could start to change on Saturday. The Black Hawks will take on the Marlins at 12:00 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Bloomfield Hills comes in on seven and Mercy on six.

Bloomfield Hills is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They had just enough and edged out Rockford 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Black Hawks have posted since October 25th.

Meanwhile, Mercy faced Byron Center in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Marlins came out on top in a nail-biter against the Bulldogs, sneaking past 3-2.

Bloomfield Hills' win bumped their record up to 43-6-1. As for Mercy, their victory bumped their record up to 42-5-3.

Bloomfield Hills beat Mercy 2-0 when the teams last played back in August. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Black Hawks since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
