Basketball Recap: Lyle/Pacelli Comes Up Short

Lyle/Pacelli was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 14th straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 60-48 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Grand Meadow Superlarks. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Athletics this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 62-58 back in December of 2024.

Lyle/Pacelli's defeat dropped their record down to 0-13. As for Grand Meadow, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-10.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lyle/Pacelli will square off against Spring Grove at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Grand Meadow, they will head out on the road to take on Glenville-Emmons at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
