Soccer Game Preview: College Park vs. Concord

The College Park Falcons are taking a road trip to challenge the Concord Bears at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

College Park is headed into Tuesday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Saturday. 2025 welcomed they with a 5-1 loss courtesy of Pittsburg. That's two games in a row now that the Falcons have lost by exactly four goals.

Meanwhile, neither Concord nor Mt. Eden could gain the upper hand on Saturday so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw.

Concord's goal came courtesy of Ashwin Mendez, which was the first he's scored this season.

Concord's draw makes their record 3-1-2 this season. As for College Park, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-4.

College Park was able to grind out a solid win over Concord in their previous meeting back in December of 2023, winning 2-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for College Park since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
