Volleyball Recap: Knoch Comes Up Short

If Knoch was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Valley on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Knights came up short against the Deer Lakes Lancers on Thursday, falling 3-0. The Knights were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Lancers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

While Knoch was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-17, 25-23.

Knoch has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season. As for Deer Lakes, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0-1.

Knoch wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Armstrong on the 29th. Deer Lakes has also already played their next matchup (against Highlands), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
