Roane County made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Williamstown, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Raiders fell just short of the Yellowjackets by a score of 2-0 on Wednesday. Having soared to a lofty 17 runs in the game before, the Raiders' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Roane County now has a losing record of 8-9. As for Williamstown, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-8.

While Roane County had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
