It may have taken double overtime to finish the job, but South Warren ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They secured a 74-69 W over the Barren County Trojans. The victory was familiar territory for the Spartans who have now won five matches in a row.

South Warren's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-1. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 84.0 points per game. As for Barren County, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.

South Warren and Owensboro will compete for holiday cheer at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Barren County will take on Allen County-Scottsville in a holiday battle at at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
