Basketball Recap: Amboy's Victory on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Amboy won the last time they faced Dakota and things went their way on Saturday too. The Amboy Clippers came out on top against the Dakota Indians by a score of 40-33. Winning may never get old, but the Clippers sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Despite the loss, Dakota saw an underclassman step up: freshman Makenna Stuckey posted 18 points and seven rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Hailey Kerchner, who put up two points and five rebounds.

Amboy is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten contests, which provided a massive bump to their 13-6 record this season. As for Dakota, with the defeat, they broke their seven-game winning streak and moved their record to 10-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Amboy will take on Milledgeville at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Amboy is facing Milledgeville at the right time seeing as Milledgeville is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Dakota, they will challenge Oregon at 6:45 p.m. on Monday.
