Basketball Game Preview: Plano West Wolves vs. Prosper Eagles

The Plano West Wolves will take on the Prosper Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Plano West has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 199 points over their last three contests.

Plano West took a loss when they played away from home last Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They enjoyed a cozy 71-57 win over Princeton. The victory was some much needed relief for the Wolves as it spelled an end to their five-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, Prosper beat Princeton 40-32 on Friday. Given the Eagles' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 37th, while the Panthers are ranked 328th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Prosper's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 21-8. As for Plano West, their record now sits at an identical 21-8.

Plano West strolled past Prosper in their previous matchup back in January by a score of 80-62. The rematch might be a little tougher for Plano West since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
