Winning always takes teamwork, but on Friday Heze Kent stepped things up a notch to give Brunswick the 'W'. Kent picked up 30 receiving yards and one touchdown, and also punched in one TD on the ground. The performance also marked the most rushing yards (20) he has had since back in November of 2024.

Kent and Brunswick will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against South Effingham at 7:30 p.m. on the 31st. The Pirates got just the result they wanted when they last faced the Mustangs thanks in part to Kent: he picked up 61 receiving yards and one score, and also rushed for 35 yards.
