Volleyball Recap: Limon Comes Up Short

Limon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lamar Thunder. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Badgers of the 3-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2023.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-19, 19-25, 25-19.

Despite the loss, Limon still got an impressive performance from Chloe Stone, who had 17 digs and two aces. Stone has been hot, having posted 11 or more digs the last seven times she's played.

Limon's loss dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Lamar, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 9-2.

Coincidentally, Limon and Lamar will both be playing Vail Christian the next time they take the court. The Badgers will head out to face the Saints at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, while the Thunder will play them later in the day, at 11:30 a.m.
