Basketball Recap: Corbin Takes a Loss

If Corbin was feeling good fresh off their 92-18 takedown of Williamsburg on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Redhounds fell just short of the Whitley County Colonels by a score of 59-56 on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Redhounds have suffered since December 22, 2025.

Corbin's defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 7-8. As for Whitley County, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 13 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season.

While Corbin had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
