Softball Recap: Three Straight Road Victories for Mount St. Mary Academy

Mount St. Mary Academy hadn't done well against Sacred Heart Academy recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. The Thunder walked away with a 7-3 victory over the Sharks. This was a revenge game for the Thunder: when they faced off against the Sharks last Monday, they had to take a 3-1 defeat.

Isabella Kilonsky spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and one unearned) runs on six hits and racked up 13 Ks.

At the plate, Jocelyn Wolf was excellent, going 2-for-4 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run. That run marked the first that she has scored this season. Molly Reynolds was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one triple, one run, and one double.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Mount St. Mary Academy kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That's the most hits they've posted since the start of last season.
