Basketball Recap: Adrian Comes Up Short

Adrian lost against Stockton back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Adrian Blackhawks fell just short of the Stockton Tigers by a score of 50-48. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Blackhawks came into the match with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 95th, while the Tigers are ranked 259th).

Adrian's defeat dropped their record down to 7-3. As for Stockton, with the win, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 5-7.

Adrian will face off against Lone Jack at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Stockton, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Diamond at 6:00 p.m. on January 27th.
