Baseball Recap: Bayou Academy Comes Up Short

Monday just wasn't the day for Bayou Academy's offense. They lost 12-0 to the Magnolia Heights Chiefs on Monday. The loss continues a trend for the Colts in their meetings with the Chiefs: they've now lost nine in a row.

Bayou Academy's defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 8-5. As for Magnolia Heights, the win (which was their 11th in a row) raised their record to 28-4.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Chiefs beat Bayou Academy by a score of 8-3 on Tuesday.
