Basketball Recap: Jacksonville Takes a Loss

After soaring to 55 points the game before, Jacksonville was a bit more limited in their game on Friday. They had to suffer through a 72-27 loss at the hands of the Lufkin Panthers. The match marked the Fightin' Indians' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Jacksonville has traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 14-20 record this season. As for Lufkin, the win (which was their 30th in a row) raised their record to 33-2.

Coming up, Jacksonville will head out on the road to face off against Whitehouse at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Lufkin does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
