Last Wednesday, Penns Valley Area was able to grind out a solid victory over Central, taking the game 11-7. The win continues a trend for the Rams in their matchups with the Dragons: they've now won six in a row.

Meanwhile, Huntingdon had just enough and edged out Bellwood-Antis 3-1 on Wednesday. That's two games straight that the Bearcats have won by exactly two runs.

Alivia Nicklow spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on three hits and racked up 11 Ks.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Alivia Edwards, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one home run. The team also got some help courtesy of Julia Foster, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.
