Basketball Recap: Valle Catholic Takes a Loss

Valle Catholic was the 60-55 winner over Kingston when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Valle Catholic Warriors took a 54-48 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Kingston Cougars. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Valle Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 11-11. As for Kingston, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 11-13 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Valle Catholic will challenge North County at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Kingston, a feisty cat fight will be fought as the Cougars challenge the Cardinals at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Steelville knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past five contests -- so hopefully Kingston likes a good challenge.
