Redding Christian extended their winning streak to seven on Friday, bumping them up to 7-0. They breezed past the Fall River Bulldogs to the tune of 49-14. Considering the Lions have won six games by more than 19 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Redding Christian's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Levi Putnam led the charge by rushing for 157 yards and three TDs while picking up 9.8 yards per carry. Putnam also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making three total tackles and defending one pass. Darren Goodman did his part for the team as well, scoring a TD off of 137 receiving yards.

On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Redding Christian's defense and their five sacks. Brodie Ogden was particularly dangerous to the passing game, picking up two himself. Redding Christian got some further help from Zack Wakeman: he picked up a sack and made 15 total tackles (2.0 for loss).

As for Fall River, their loss dropped their record down to 4-4. The defeat continues a trend for them in their meetings with Redding Christian: they've now lost three in a row.

When it comes to explaining why Fall River lost, don't look at Abraham Estes. Despite the final result, he rushed for 176 yards and a pair of scores while picking up 10.4 yards per carry. Estes is becoming a predictor of the Bulldogs' success: when he posts at least 100 rushing yards the team is 3-1 (and 1-3 when he doesn't).

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Redding Christian will take on Etna at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Fall River, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Weed at 7:30 p.m. on the 31st.
