Ninety Six had to skate by with only a one-goal margin when they last took the pitch, which might have inspired the four-goal drubbing they dealt Batesburg-Leesville on Thursday. The Wildcats put the hurt on the Panthers with a sharp 4-0 win. The result was nothing new for Ninety Six, who have now won eight contests by three goals or more so far this season.

Ninety Six pushed their record up to 12-2 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 34 goals over those six matchups. As for Batesburg-Leesville, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-12-1 record this season.
