Summit extends home winning streak to six

Recap: Summit Tigers vs. Moffat County Bulldogs

The Summit Tigers entered their tilt with the Moffat County Bulldogs with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. Summit pulled ahead with a 45-44 photo finish over Moffat County. This was payback for Summit, who suffered a 62-49 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Kayla Smith was the offensive standout of the match as she dropped a double-double on 18 points and 11 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Avery Eytel, who scored seven points along with nine rebounds and two steals.

Summit's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-7. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.0 points per game. As for Moffat County, their loss dropped their record down to 7-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games.
