Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Pine Ridge). They took down the Santee Warriors 71-53 on Friday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Thorpes.

When it comes to explaining why Santee lost, don't look at Miley Pike. Despite the final result, she posted 20 points. Another player making a difference was Talia Saunsoci, who put up 12 points.

The victory got Pine Ridge back to even at 2-2. As for Santee, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 4-2.

Pine Ridge has already played their next game, a 33-32 win against Tiospa Zina on the 21st. As for Santee, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 59-37 victory against Wakpala on the 21st.
