Pioneer waltzed into their contest on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They were the clear victors by an 8-2 margin over the Whitney Wildcats. The result was nothing new for the Titans, who have now won six matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Pioneer pushed their record up to 9-4 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.4 runs on average over those games. As for Whitney, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-8 record this season.

Pioneer will host Cerritos at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Whitney, they will head out on the road to face off against Savanna at 3:15 p.m. on Monday.
