Soccer Recap: Clarksville Academy Takes a Loss

Clarksville Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 5-2 to the Creek Wood Red Hawks. Clarksville Academy lost against Creek Wood in their previous head to head back in April of 2021, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 25-1 score last time.

Logan Gibson and Preston Little scored both of Clarksville Academy's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Clarksville Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Creek Wood, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 4-0.

Clarksville Academy has already played their next matchup, a 7-0 loss against Kenwood on the 17th. As for Creek Wood, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 5-0 defeat against West Creek on the 18th.
