Volleyball Recap: Bishop Miege Falls Short of Andale in the Playoffs

Bishop Miege and Andale squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Bishop Miege had to settle for second. They fell 2-0 to the Indians. The Stags were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Indians apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2023.

Mia Aouad was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had 12 assists and five digs.

With the defeat, Bishop Miege broke their three-match winning streak and moved their record to 9-27. As for Andale, the victory (which was their 20th in a row) raised their record to 32-1.

Coincidentally, Bishop Miege and Andale will both be playing Paola the next time they take the court. The Indians will head out to face the Panthers at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Stags will play them later in the day, at 2:00 p.m.
