Basketball Game Preview: Grand County Red Devils vs. Milford Tigers

Two dominant guards in Gemma Phillips and Jaidyn Mcmullin are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. Having just played yesterday, the Grand County Red Devils will jump right back in to play the Milford Tigers at 11:30 a.m. on Friday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Grand County is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Wayne just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Thursday. They came up short against the Badgers, falling 61-38.

Meanwhile, Milford was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were dealt a 44-16 defeat at the hands of North Sevier. The game marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Milford's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Grand County, they now have a losing record at 3-4.

Grand County beat Milford 51-38 when the teams last played back in December of 2022. Will Grand County repeat their success, or does Milford have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
