Softball Recap: El Diamante Miners vs. Dinuba Emperors
El Diamante lost against Dinuba back in March of 2019, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Miners lost 10-3 to the Emperors. The Miners have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
El Diamante saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Alexis Ruvalcaba, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI. Lexi Mazon also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.
El Diamante's defeat dropped their record down to 6-9-1. As for Dinuba, the win was the 14th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-4.
El Diamante wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 12-0 loss against Redwood on the 22nd. As for Dinuba, they have also already played their next contest, a 7-4 defeat against Fowler on the 15th.
