Freeman Academy/Marion won the last time they faced Burke and things went their way on Saturday too. Freeman Academy/Marion walked away with a 52-43 win over the Burke Cougars. Freeman Academy/Marion didn't have much to brag about two games back, but this victory makes it their second in a row.

Despite the loss, Burke had strong showings from Brody Indahl, who posted 12 points and six rebounds, and Quinten Bull, who dropped a double-double with ten points and ten boards. Those six boards gave Indahl a new career-high.

Freeman Academy/Marion's win bumped their record up to 6-12. As for Burke, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-17.

Looking ahead, Freeman Academy/Marion will venture away from home to take on Beresford at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Burke, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, an 82-62 loss against Marty Indian on the 24th.
