Softball Game Preview: Rosehill Christian Eagles vs. John Paul II Centurions

The Rosehill Christian Eagles are taking a road trip to face off against the John Paul II Centurions at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.

Rosehill Christian can't be to happy about their upcoming road matchup considering what happened when they opened their season on the away from home on Thursday. They fell just short of John Paul II by a score of 19-18.

For John Paul II's part, Erin Gonzalez was a standout: she scored four runs and stole a base while getting on base in all five of her plate appearances. Gonzalez also put up an RBI, which was her first of the season. Mikaela Lozano was another key player, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with four RBI, two runs, and one triple.

John Paul II was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .591. Their batting average was a full 0 higher than the also-impressive .400 that Rosehill Christian posted.
