Soccer Recap: Wayne Memorial Comes Up Short

Wayne Memorial was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 8-0 to the Franklin Patriots. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against Franklin this season, with their most recent loss being a 3-1 defeat two weeks ago.

Wayne Memorial's record now sits at 0-12-2. As for Franklin, their win bumped their record up to 5-9.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wayne Memorial will head out to challenge Clarenceville at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Wayne Memorial will be up against Clarenceville's rather soft defense (which has allowed 4.86 goals per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Franklin, they will head out on the road to face off against Divine Child at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
