Soccer Game Preview: Palo Verde vs. Arbor View

The Palo Verde Panthers will face off against the Arbor View Aggies at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday.

Palo Verde is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Nevada's top teams: Faith Lutheran, who was ranked tenth at the time (Palo Verde was ranked seventh). The two teams finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw last Wednesday.

Palo Verde's goal came courtesy of Noah Johnson, who's now up to six this season.

The home team had won the previous four meetings between Arbor View and Centennial, and Centennial kept the tradition alive. The Aggies fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 3-2 last Thursday.

Arbor View's defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 7-7. Palo Verde's draw gives them a new season record of 5-2-3.

Palo Verde beat Arbor View 3-1 in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. Do the Panthers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Aggies turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
