Valley strolled into their game on Thursday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They came out on top against the Potosi Trojans by a score of 8-4. This was payback for the Vikings, who suffered a 15-2 loss the last time these two teams met.

Valley's victory was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-0. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.5 runs on average this season. As for Potosi, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 6-4.

Looking ahead, Valley will look to defend their home field on Monday against Bunker at 4:30 p.m. As for Potosi, they will head out on the road to square off against Ste. Genevieve at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
