Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask McNair Academic). They put the hurt on the Dickinson Rams with a sharp 34-4 win on Monday. Considering the Cougars have won ten matches by more than nine runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

McNair Academic pushed their record up to 10-2 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 23.8 runs over those games. As for Dickinson, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-7 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. McNair Academic is set to square off against their familiar foe Ferris at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Dickinson will face off against rival St. Dominic Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
