Basketball Recap: Independent Comes Up Short

It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 83-23, which was the final score in the Independent Panthers's tilt against the Independence Bulldogs on Tuesday. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Independent's loss dropped their record down to 0-9-1. As for Independence, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-8.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Independent will challenge Kingman at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Independence, they will take on Labette County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
