Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Vintage). Their defense stepped up to hand the Petaluma Trojans a 7-0 shutout on Monday. The Crushers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven games by three goals or more this season.

Their offense was hitting Petaluma from everywhere, as seven different players booted in a goal.

Vintage's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-2-4. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those three contests. As for Petaluma, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-9-3.

Looking ahead, Vintage will square off against Casa Grande at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Casa Grande will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Vintage surely won't give up without a fight. As for Petaluma, they will challenge Sonoma Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
