Soccer Recap: Draughn Comes Up Short

Draughn was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They came up short against the West Caldwell Warriors, falling 10-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against West Caldwell this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-1 back in September.

Draughn's goal came courtesy of Talen Denton, who's now up to three this season.

Draughn's defeat dropped their record down to 0-14-2. As for West Caldwell, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-5-1 record this season.

Draughn didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 4-0 loss against Chase on the 22nd. As for West Caldwell, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 9-0 victory against R-S Central on the 22nd.
