Northampton County extended their winning streak to seven games thanks to a huge performance from Jiyoun Williams. The Northampton County Jaguars came out on top against the North Edgecombe Warriors by a score of 49-39 on Saturday thanks to Williams, who went 11-for-14 on his way to 24 points and three steals. His afternoon made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least 16 points.

North Edgecombe lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Jamauri Cannady, who almost dropped a double-double with nine points and nine rebounds. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in blocks (three). Another player making a difference was Jahmir Parker, who dropped a double-double with ten points and 12 boards.

Northampton County pushed their record up to 17-5 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for North Edgecombe, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-12.

As of now, neither Northampton County nor North Edgecombe have any future games scheduled.
