Sycamore proved they can win big on Saturday (they won by 26) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 43-41 win over Morris. The victory was nothing new for the Spartans as they're now sitting on eight straight.

Sycamore's record now sits at 21-9. As for Morris, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 11-19 record.

Coming up, Sycamore will head out on the road to face off against Geneva at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Morris, they will be playing at home against Manteno at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Panthers have been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last five games.
