It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but North Bay Haven Academy had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They won by a run and slipped past the Bozeman Bucks 13-12. The Buccaneers are really starting to get used to good results now that the team has won 13 straight.

The team relied heavily on Kaylee Goodpaster, who went 2-for-4 with three runs, two doubles, and two RBI. Nevaeh Tarr was another key player, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with one run and one double.

North Bay Haven Academy hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least five batters in three consecutive matchups.

North Bay Haven Academy pushed their record up to 23-3 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.1 runs over those games. As for Bozeman, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-11.

North Bay Haven Academy has already played their next game, a 6-3 victory against Baldwin on the 15th. Bozeman does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
